San Diego, CA – March 3, 2015  Huntington Capital (“Huntington”), a San Diego based lower-middle market focused private equity fund, has announced today that Nicolas Lopez has been named to the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) San Diego Board of Directors.

The ACG San Diego Board of Directors is a volunteer board comprised of representatives of the ACG membership who have been actively involved in ACG San Diego activities.  The Board of Directors is responsible for chairing all ACG San Diego events and committees.  Lopez currently serves on the Programs Committee, and began his role on the Board of Directors in February 2015.

"Nicolas is a welcome addition to our Board,” commented Dennis J. Doucette, president of ACG San Diego.  “I look forward to his involvement in the ACG organization as we continue to build on the successes of previous years and further enhance the value and benefits offered to this important network of professionals."

"It is a privilege to be a part of the ACG Board of Directors among many of San Diego’s leading professionals in M&A and corporate finance," said Lopez.

Lopez, a graduate of San Diego State University and the USC Marshall School of Business, has extensive experience in corporate finance and investment analysis.  His prior operating experience and deep functional knowledge give him a unique perspective with which to serve Huntington portfolio companies.

"We are extremely proud of Nicolas for being offered this opportunity," said Tim Bubnack, managing partner at Huntington Capital.  "ACG San Diego is very involved with the business community, and we are excited for Nicolas’ growth within this organization as he continues to develop valuable relationships and a deeper expertise of the industry."

Lopez will be a part of a panel in the upcoming ACG event on April 21, 2015, titled “Private Equity: Another Arrow in the Service Provider Quiver” discussing local private equity resources and opportunities. For more information, visit http://www.acg.org/sandiego/events
